Utilizing proprietary detection techniques, the AERL EarthGuard Insulation Monitoring Device simultaneously monitors the unearthed PV Array (60 – 300V) and Battery Storage System (48/120V) for conductor insulation degradation.

Optimized for use in PV and Battery Storage systems, the device satisfies the earth fault detection requirements of both AS/NZ 5033:2014 & AS/NZ 5139:2019 with onboard
audio/visual alarms and an auxiliary alarm relay output for external fault indication.

A solar charger gathers energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries. Using the latest, fastest technology, SmartSolar maximises this energy-harvest, driving it intelligently to achieve full charge in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains battery health, extending its life.

The SmartSolar charge controller will even recharge a severely depleted battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 Volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulphated or otherwise damaged.

We feature a wide range of both MPPT and PWM solar charge controllers In our MPPT model names, for example MPPT 75/50, the first number is the maximum PV open circuit voltage. The second number, 50, is the maximum charge current.

Our aim was to find a simple, reliable and inexpensive way to implement intelligent care of the battery.

We decided to base the design around a small microcontroller integrated circuit. This single chip microprocessor controls all the operations of the regulator. It allows all the pieces of information about the battery state and charge history to be easily gathered, stored, and interpreted. The controller is programmed with a sophisticated set of rules to help it to decide what to do.
